Aubergine in Bamberg

Best meal we've had in a long time! We were there for two and tried all sorts of appetizers - absolutely recommendable. So you can cost a lot of different things and just reorder what was best.

More than delicious. This evening was a very special, really wonderful taste experience. The dishes including the dessert were seasoned to the finest, really masterful. The glass of Lebanese white wine and the friendly and attentive service rounded off the feast. And when the lighting in the restaurant becomes a little bit more cozy (e.g. by lighting on the tables instead of the ceiling), the aubergine will be perfect.

Food was delicious. While they didn’t have an English menu, the gentleman who took our order spoke perfect English and helped us to order.

Nice little Lebanese restaurant with different dishes like humus, grilled vegetables etc. The service is very attentive and friendly. Something different than Franconian cuisine.

Great prices and very tasty food. It's best to make a reservation as the restaurant is a bit small. The service was very attentive and friendly.

A very authentic and great restaurant in Bamberg. Finally a restaurant that is not Greek, Italian or Asian, not that these kitchens don't taste good, but aubergine finally brings a bit of variety to Bamberg's gastronomy. Tasty Lebanese food and drinks are offered. Just go there and let the staff explain, this is very friendly and helpful. Have already had nice, tasty evenings here. Keep it up eggplant!

Great food and really friendly staff

Great food, nice and courteous service Yesterday we were for the first time in the eggplant and immediately very excited. The food was delicious and very lovingly prepared. On recommendation, we first ate a mixed starter plate, which was just awesome. You could tell, that only fresh and high-quality ingredients were used. The same applies of course to the main courses and the mocha dessert. Therefore absolute recommendation!

The food is excellent. The service is very nice and accommodating! A very recommendable place for hearty breakfast or dinner!

After the countless typical rustic dishes, which I always ate with my Bamberger business travel, I needed something else. The restaurant Aubergine seemed to offer this. Unfortunately, there were no main courses at half past eight that day, but I was promised that I could eat enough of starters. That's what I did then. The food was really great and corresponds to the oriental kitchen and looks very authentic. I especially liked that they really took care of me, because I noticed that I was hungry.

It is relatively small, but very comfortable. The food was really delicious :) The staff is very friendly.
